Two Teams, One Cup?
Apologies to Dave for stealing his headline [sort of], but a thought occurred to me while watching the [surprisingly entertaining] F1 race on Sunday.
At the end of the year, the Constructors’ Championship is awarded to the team with the most points. So why, at each race, is the Constructor’s Trophy always given to the team that had the winning car?
I mean, if team A only gets one car to the end, and it wins, but Team B gets second and third, Team B has scored 14 points to Team A’s 10. So surely they should get the Trophy?
Hey - it’s no crazier that some of Bernie’s recent ideas!
